Standards for chat, community posts, profiles and communication between players.

Be respectful

  • Discuss ideas and games without attacking people.
  • No harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual content or discriminatory abuse.
  • Do not shame or publicly accuse another player of cheating; use the report tool.

Keep content safe

  • No spam, scams, malware, deceptive links or unauthorized advertising.
  • Do not publish private information, credentials or another person’s personal data.
  • Do not impersonate players, staff or organizations.
  • Keep player names, posts and chat suitable for a broad chess community.

Moderation

Content may be hidden or removed, and accounts may be restricted. Reports are reviewed by administrators and moderation actions may be recorded for consistency and safety.
