Acceptance

By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Fair Play Policy and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not create an account or continue using the service.

Accounts

• Provide accurate information and keep account credentials confidential.
• One person should use one competitive account unless we approve otherwise.
• Your permanent player code identifies your public chess profile; do not use it to impersonate another person.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account until you notify us of unauthorized use.

Games, clocks and results

• Legal moves and game termination are determined by the platform’s chess rules implementation.
• In timed games, the server-authoritative match state and clock govern the result.
• Disconnecting does not normally stop a clock. Repeated disconnect abuse may be investigated.
• Ratings, pairings and results may be corrected when caused by a verified technical error, abuse or fair-play violation.

Acceptable use

• Do not cheat, use assistance, automate play, manipulate ratings or exploit errors.
• Do not harass users, publish unlawful content, spam, impersonate others or attempt unauthorized access.
• Do not interfere with games, services, security controls or other users’ devices.

Arena ai and analysis

Arena ai is provided for training and post-game analysis. It must not be used to assist moves in a live competitive game. Suggestions and evaluations are educational and may not always be perfect.

Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of original content you post, while granting Jhoshna Media a limited licence to host, display, moderate and distribute it within the service. The platform design, software, branding and original content remain protected. Open-source components remain governed by their respective licences.

Suspension, termination and appeals

We may restrict or suspend accounts for security, abuse, fair-play or legal reasons. Serious or repeated violations may lead to termination and rating correction. You may request a review by contacting support with your player code and relevant match details.

Availability and liability

The service is provided on an as-available basis. We work to preserve games and reconnect players, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jhoshna Media is not liable for indirect losses, lost opportunities or loss caused by events outside reasonable control.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of India. Courts with appropriate jurisdiction in India will handle disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer rights.
